About our school

St John Fisher’s strong academic outcomes, combined with an appreciation of vocational experiences, allow students to succeed and thrive in their life beyond the school gates. When St John Fisher College students graduate they are real world ready.

Our College really is the hidden gem of schools in Brisbane’s northern suburbs and while our fee is affordable, our focus is truly on delivering a curriculum designed to prepare students for a changing world. Along with recently upgraded facilities, including a Design and Hospitality hub, our College is set amongst almost 13 hectares of lush greenspace, which offers an ideal learning environment, free of clutter, for our students’ minds to flourish.

As a College with a Mercy charism, St John Fisher College draws inspiration from the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley, who recognised the needs of those who were marginalised in society, and with qualities of compassion, and a strong sense of giving, was a strong advocate for young women.
