St John Fisher College QLD – Change Makers
Today’s world is changing more dramatically and faster than ever before. At SJFC we are preparing our students for this changing world and challenging them to be the types of change-makers we don’t yet know about.
To prepare our students to be change-makers, our academic program is bringing new technology and curriculum initiatives into the classroom. By understanding how students can use technology to learn, we are providing them with the tool kit needed to adapt and thrive in a technological world.
We are an inclusive community where students live and learn with students from a variety of backgrounds. We want students who are global citizens, with a broad and accepting perspective of the world that will allow them to make positive contributions to society.
By bringing a Catholic lens to our learning, our teaching focuses on sustainability, humanity, dignity of all and care for creation, attributes that are constantly being sought in the wider community.
All of the programs on offer at SJFC challenge our students to foster a disposition of adaptability and flexibility. By nurturing the future change-makers of the 2030s and beyond, we are supporting the development of transferable skills that articulate into careers that haven’t even been thought of yet.
