Southern Cross Catholic College is a vibrant, dynamic learning community that provides excellence in Catholic Education. Our approach to education offers each student an incredible opportunity to reach their full potential academically, socially and spiritually.

Our College provides an excellent introduction into careers through the early commencement of Certificate II or III (Stage 6) courses, available to students in Year 9 and 10. These courses are traditionally available to students in Year 11 and 12 only. Early access provides a great pathway for students to complete multiple National certificate qualifications along with their HSC.

In addition, students undertaking a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathway are encouraged to commence a School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT) while at school. An SBAT allows students to earn an income by attending work with an employer one day a week, while also completing their qualification course requirements. Southern Cross also boasts the only dedicated Performing Arts High School within Sydney Catholic Schools offering disciplines in Dance, Drama, Music – Instrumental/Voice and Musical Theatre – Singing, Dancing and Acting. We pride ourselves in providing a holistic learning environment that focuses on individual student success in which each student is supported by one significant staff member who is empowered to take constructive action on their behalf.
