About our school
Kolbe Catholic College is dedicated to nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally, with wellbeing as the cornerstone of our approach. Through our Pastoral Care System, we create a supportive environment where students build meaningful relationships with peers and staff, fostering a strong sense of belonging and personal growth.
Academically, we offer a wide range of pathways to support diverse ambitions, including VCE and VCE VM options, ensuring students are prepared for university, trades, or direct employment. Our Ignite Accelerated Learning Program and Academic Scholarship Program challenge students to reach new heights in their education, providing opportunities for advanced studies and early university access.
We are especially proud of our focus on STEM education, which allows students to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on, project-based learning. These programs often include travel opportunities within Australia and abroad, broadening students’ perspectives and equipping them with essential skills for the future.
At Kolbe, co-curricular activities are integral to our community, offering something for everyone. From sports and performing arts to leadership and community service, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop their talents, and contribute positively. This commitment to holistic development makes Kolbe Catholic College a place where students truly thrive.
Kolbe Catholic College emphasises growth for students, staff, and families, fostering personal achievement and teacher development. In 2025, the college aims to raise student expectations across all aspirations, ensuring support for diverse career paths in an environment grounded in Catholic values. Their holistic approach nurtures intellect, character, and spirit, reinforcing the school’s role as a trusted educational choice in the community.
Due to growing demand, a new campus will open in Mickleham in 2026, underscoring Kolbe’s success and commitment to quality education. The college remains dedicated to a collective journey of continual growth and community-building
