Kolbe Catholic College – Our Past, Our Present, Our Future

Kolbe Catholic College is a beacon of educational excellence for the northern suburbs of Melbourne, serving students from Year 7 to 12 in the Franciscan tradition, fostering an environment of faith, courage and compassion. Named after St Maximilian Kolbe, our patron saint’s legacy epitomises heroism and self-sacrifice. His Feast Day on 14 August serves as a poignant reminder of his courageous act at Auschwitz, where he offered his life for a fellow prisoner. St Maximilian Kolbe’s devotion to others aligns perfectly with our college motto – Faith, Courage, Compassion. These values guide our students to strive for excellence, seize life’s opportunities and dedicate themselves to serving others. The College has witnessed remarkable growth over recent years. Currently, we proudly serve a thriving community of 1200 students. This growth reflects our commitment to providing a quality education. Exciting times lie ahead as we plan to open a second campus in 2026, expanding our reach and our impact. This expansion will enable us to accommodate even more students while maintaining our commitment to individualised education and personal growth.

We are excited to continue our journey of academic and spiritual growth, embracing our Franciscan roots, living in the present and forging a bright future.
