As a Catholic school in the Oblate religious tradition, Iona College focuses the holistic development of our students.
The classroom is just part of the education journey at Iona. By learning how to serve their community, Iona students learn how to become better men.
It is at the heart of the Oblate mission, and what it means to be an Ionian.
Our curriculum provides a wide range of subject opportunities to cultivate the individual talents of each student, including marine science, engineering and aerospace programs.
Iona understands that the dreams and talents of each student are unique. Student learning is fostered in an environment that is challenging, engaging and supportive.
Classroom activities are designed to be enjoyable, stimulating and authentic.
Our co-curricular program caters to the passion of every student including music, sport, drama and the arts, supported by world-class facilities such as our 2500-seat indoor stadium The Provence Centre, our 500-seat Iona Performing Arts Centre and our expansive, on-campus playing fields.
Our students experience a positive school culture and environment, and are taught how to enhance their personal wellbeing, deal with life’s challenges, live a life of meaning and purpose, and strengthen their relationships with others and with God.
Iona College is a Catholic school for boys conducted by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
Since 1957, Iona has served our region in partnership with families and the wider community to form young men of quality who leave to serve.
As an Ionian, your son is presented with a lifetime of opportunities and community.
From humble beginnings, Iona has grown into a modern, world-class campus built to serve the needs of our students, and the families who entrust us with their care.
