Iona College does not simply aspire to be one of the best schools in the world, but be one of the best schools for the world.

The current Iona College Strategic Plan (2022-2025) is under the banner of Space to Grow, and it invites and compels us to constantly reimagine education for our complex and ever-changing world.

This must include ways in which the opportunities we receive also benefit others.

As a local Catholic school, it is faith and belief in Jesus Christ and his role- modelling of life, learning, leadership and service that fuels our reimagining of education.

Our intentional balance of classroom practices utilising emerging technologies to inspire students to develop skills for the 21st century occurs both inside and beyond the classroom.

Our Oblate values compel us to not just focus on ourselves, but to instead look further afield at who has been left out in this modern reimagining.

We have an obligation to recognise and advocate for the more than 50% of the world’s youth who do not have access to the digital technologies we take for granted in the developed world.

Iona does this in a number of ways, which we would be happy to share.
