About our school

St Joseph’sCollege,GregoryTerrace has educated young men for almost 150 years. Steeped in rich history and tradition, the Gentlemen of Terrace are shaped by the camaraderie and support formed during their time wearing the red and black. As a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition, we aim to inspire young men through our values of knowledge, humility and wisdom. Terrace Educators are integral to our learning culture, enacting a vision that positions the educator and student in an alliance within an atmosphere of care, collaboration and support. This, along with a proud history of academic achievement, ensures the College is a top-ranked academic performer in Queensland.

Students are also encouraged to explore their interests and develop an appreciation for the vital learning that comes from participating in co-curricular programs. From public speaking, musical productions and competitive sporting programs, Terrace nurtures students’ natural abilities and strengths so that they feel confident to grow into their best selves. Operating from the main College campus at Spring Hill, Terrace also boasts a dedicated Year 9 campus, a state-of-the- art gymnasium, 10 hectares of sporting fields at Tennyson and an Outdoor Education Centre at Maroon Dam.
