About our school

Santa Sophia Catholic College is a co-educational school for students from Preschool to Year 12.

We are a one stop shop for busy parents, school opens at 6.30am, offering before-school care services. Additionally, we have an after-school care program that is linked to our curriculum, with teachers being paid to run masterclasses in the after-school program.

We provide an innovative learning environment and have a strong focus on workplace skills for the future workplace. We also offer a Gifted and Talented Program for students from Kindergarten to Year 8. Starting from Year 9, students are invited to participate in our acceleration program, particularly in Mathematics, Science, Studies of Religion, and early commencement in VET Hospitality.

In our first ever set of HSC results, we achieved a state ranking of 249, with our highest ATAR score of 98.75 and a State placing in Food Technology.

We have a School Wellbeing Dog called Arlo who contributes to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere within our school community.
