About our school

Oakhill College, established in 1936, stands as the largest Catholic school in NSW and a proud member of the global De La Salle network. Our mission is to provide a holistic education that not only emphasises academic excellence but also nurtures character, resilience, and a commitment to serving others. Guided by Catholic values and Lasallian traditions, we foster a culture of aspiration and excellence, encouraging each student to strive for their personal best.

Our approach to education is forward-thinking, focused on 21st century learning outcomes and globally recognised teaching practices. We offer a diverse array of curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular opportunities, allowing students to explore their passions, develop talents, and prepare for a future in an ever evolving world. Our Innovation Hub, featuring hybrid workshops, computer and graphics labs, and advanced science facilities, equips students with skills for careers that may not yet exist.

At Oakhill, we celebrate the dignity of every student, fostering a supportive environment where diversity is respected, and each child can grow in the living presence of God. We prepare graduates not only to succeed but also to make meaningful contributions to the world, rooted in faith, integrity, and a sense of purpose.
