About our school
Marymede Catholic College is a young and vibrant school community with an established K-12 Campus in South Morang, and a new 7-12 Campus in Doreen. We aspire, in the way of Mary, to give students a passion for life, a love of learning and a determination to be of service to others.
Our College is dedicated to recognising and developing the unique potential of every student, equipping them to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world. As a result, our curriculum nurtures the individual to achieve fullness of life through a balanced emphasis on academic, spiritual, social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Our growth has seen our College expand, not only with a new Campus in Doreen, but with a renewed and refocused Mission and Vision, and the development of our four Key Directions; Encountering Christ, Empowering students to Flourish, Aspirations for All and Fostering a Positive Culture and Environment.
Differentiated learning and individual pathways continue to be at the centre of all that we do. Teachers and facilities provide students with every opportunity to develop their own interests and skills. An education at Marymede incorporates the latest technology, delivered by educators who deeply care about student outcomes, within an environment that stimulates and encourages excellence.
Principal's Message
Marymede Catholic College offers students the opportunity, In the Way of Mary, to listen, reflect, and respond to what Christ calls us to be today; humble, loving, strong and committed people who aspire to grow, lead and serve.
As Principal, I am honoured to guide this journey, placing strong emphasis on helping young people realise their best selves, whist inviting them to understand our Catholic tradition; one of hope and love.
We are passionate about developing the best pathways for our young people and committed to ensuring that each of our students receives an education tailored to their needs and interests.
