About our school

As a Catholic school in the Oblate religious tradition, Iona College focuses on educating and empowering young men to dare to make a positive, spiritual and practical difference throughout their lives and the lives of others.

Our curriculum provides a wide range of subject opportunities to cultivate the individual talents of each student, including marine science and aerospace programs.

Iona College understands that the dreams and talents of each student are unique. Student learning is fostered in an environment that is challenging, engaging and supportive .

Classroom activities are designed to be enjoyable, stimulating and authentic. Our co-curricular program caters to the passion of every student including music, sport, drama and the arts, supported by world-class facilities such as our 2500-seat indoor stadium The Provence Centre, our 500-seat Iona Performing Arts Centre and our expansive, on-campus playing fields that can host seven football games simultaneously.

Our students not only experience a positive school culture and environment, but are taught how to enhance their personal wellbeing, deal with life’s challenges, live a life of meaning and purpose, and strengthen their relationships with others and with God.
