About our school
When you set foot on our campus you immediately feel a sense of welcoming and belonging. The Ave
Community is safe, open and supportive, and we pride ourselves on knowing, nurturing and developing every student. There is a real sense of community and genuine student voice in decisions.
Our slightly smaller cohort sizes and compact campus mean that we get to know our students, not just in the classroom, but through the myriad of co-curricular and leadership activities available.
We offer a wide range of VCE and VCE/VET subjects across all disciplines. A key feature of our academic program is the diversity of subjects available and the support for individual pathways. We work closely with families and students to address specific interests, needs and capabilities by developing bespoke learning programs that may include off-campus VET and university subjects.
Our growing Alumnae network, known as Ave Belong, is a testament to the successful community at Ave. We share and celebrate the stories of our Alumnae to encourage our current students to pursue their goals and dreams. The diversity in pathways and achievements of our Alumnae reflects the hard work and belief instilled in our students and a legacy of the positive culture and community we uphold.
At Ave Maria College, we provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for young women, guided by the Franciscan values of Truth, Love, Peace and Compassion. We are committed to building a safe, open, and supportive community where our students feel a strong sense of belonging and connectedness.
As a high performing Catholic secondary school, we challenge our students to strive for excellence from Year 7, ensuring they are prepared for their senior studies and future pathways.
Above all, we seek to empower our students and provide them with a foundation of belonging to foster the curiosity to explore, courage to excel, confidence to thrive, compassion to love and community to grow.
