St Peter Claver College – Our Past, Our Present, Our Future
As we head swiftly towards 50 years of providing high quality and affordable education to young people, it is only fitting that we reflect on where we have come from and how that guides us towards an ever more exciting future. At St Peter Claver College, we take significant influence from our Patron Saints, St Peter Claver, St Marcellin Champagnat and Jesus’ mother Mary. The example they set for us presents us with the challenge to live out our motto of Concern, Love and Justice.
Through their influence we continue to embrace and celebrate our diversity, foster trusting relationships with members of our community and deliver a quality, rich and diverse education allowing students to succeed academically while also pursuing special interest subjects, co-curricular interests and future career pathways.
Claver is a place to learn, grow, pursue passions and strive for success. It is a place where everyone is welcome, accepted and safe. We plant seeds we know will flourish in the future by preparing our students to be responsible members of society and life-long learners.
We look forward to the next 50 years of educating Ipswich’s young people who will no doubt become our future leaders.
