Marian College – Our Past, Our Present, Our Future
The Marian College tradition is embedded in the deep story and values of the Brigidine Sisters, which inspires us to promote qualities such as hospitality, inclusivity, justice and care for the environment. In keeping with our Brigidine tradition, we aim to be an excellent school that forges an ever evolving story that adapts to meet the needs and challenges of the modern world. This involves incorporating contemporary educational methods, addressing current social and environmental issues and finding innovative ways to fulfil our Core Values. As a Kildare Ministries College, we uphold the same tenets of our past in providing an excellent education. This includes:
• A current Learning and Teaching Program which reflects current educational standards and incorporate subjects, skills and technologies that are relevant in today’s world.
• Embracing inclusivity and hospitality by welcoming students from diverse backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
• Social justice initiatives that support authentic community service.
• Environmental stewardship that aligns with the respect for the natural world.
• Integrating local culture and heritage into the school’s activities.
Our Brigidine tradition provides a strong foundation for an excellent school and ensures our College remains relevant and impactful in today’s rapidly changing educational landscape.
