Help your kids express themselves with colour when they’re reading.  

In my house we never seem to have quite enough bookmarks.

In fact we sometimes use receipts, business cards, chocolate wrappers, pencils, erasers and cutlery as bookmarks.

It’s a good idea to have a surplus of actual bookmarks so that the family doesn’t continue reaching for the above-mentioned paraphernalia.

One fun way to make a bookmark involves braiding paper. So if you’ve got colour paper, glue and scissors you can quickly produce a beautifully woven bookmark in just a couple of minutes.
