De La Salle College – Our Past, Our Present, Our Future
De La Salle College brings 112 years’ tradition of excellence in Catholic boys’ education, inspiring engagement, belonging, creativity, and lifelong learning in a supportive environment. We nurture an inclusive community through high expectations, high standards and consistent teaching, all embedded in Catholic Lasallian values and the pursuit of justice. Our diverse learning program ensures that De La Salle caters to every student’s unique aspirations and potential, with an increasing emphasis on STEM across the curriculum. An emphasis on student progression through personalisation and differentiation in learning and teaching empowers our students to take responsibility for their own learning and wellbeing. Students are guided via a growth mindset to fulfil their potential in all aspects of College life, with pathways for all.
We welcome students from all faith backgrounds to share in a contemporary interpretation and application of our Catholic faith, mission, identity and Lasallian charism. Students love our extensive, high quality co-curricular program, with exciting opportunities to pursue excellence in sport, music, drama, technology, debating and service. An inspiring Master Plan aims to deliver enhanced partnerships with girls’ schools and primary schools, to build on our success in VCE Mathematics and Physics, increase opportunities in science and engineering, embed the High Performance Sports Program and broaden in the VCE Vocational Major offerings.
