About our school

St Scholastica’s is the only Catholic primary school in Burwood, blending academic excellence with a nurturing community that is welcoming of families from all cultures and faiths. With small class sizes and personalised learning plans, students thrive academically. Our supportive community, built on Catholic values, fosters empathy and wellbeing. Students develop strong relationships with teachers and staff, enhancing their resilience and focus. Our carefully selected staff form a cohesive team, catering to students needs. We prioritise family – school relationships through the community values and an ‘open door’ policy. Holistic development is key, nurturing creativity, communication, problem solving and more. Our class rooms create opportunities for excellence, with break out areas and welcoming spaces. Social emotional learning underpins teaching, empowering confident learners who positively contribute to the world. St Scholastica’s offers a nurturing, inclusive environment for every child’s academic, emotional and social growth.
