St Rita’s College is an independent Catholic school for girls from Years 5-12, established by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1926. Our six pillars—Courage, Justice, Hope, Compassion, Hospitality, and Simplicity—rooted in the Presentation charism and the life of St Rita, guide our actions and establish foundations for the future. As a vibrant Catholic community, we strive to promote leadership through service, encouraging critical reflection that leads to meaningful action for justice. We challenge and support each member of our community in an environment of collaboration and respect.
In partnership with families, we nurture young women of integrity—empowering them to become articulate, independent, discerning, creative, and resilient leaders ready to make a significant impact in the world. Your daughter will experience a modern school with a rich tradition in academic and sporting excellence, cultural diversity, and an unwavering commitment to social justice. Our students are encouraged to develop a passion for learning, explore the complexities of society, and become faith-filled, courageous, creative women of action, empowered to engage deeply and make a difference in pursuit of a just world.
At St Rita’s College, we are dedicated to empowering our students to become confident, compassionate, and courageous women of action who can truly make a difference in the world. Our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment ensures that every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
We actively encourage our girls to embrace leadership roles and participate in a range of academic, sporting, and cultural activities, emphasising the significance of their voices in creating a more equitable world. Through our social justice initiatives and immersion experiences, students gain a profound understanding of global complexities and their capacity to drive positive change.
