About our school
St Mary’s School has an enrolment of approximately 240 students. We currently operate with ten classes over seven year levels. Our inclusive approach is reflected in the wide range of cultural, social and religious backgrounds of our children. The main cultural groups represented in the school include Chinese, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Greek and Italian. We emphasise the partnership between parents, children and the school and encourage parental participation in the school.
The school provides specialist teachers in the areas of Library, Italian, Physical Education, Music, Art, Gifted and Talented Program and Information Technology.
Principal's Message
I am truly honoured to step into the role of principal at St Mary’s this year, and to be part of such a connected and passionate community. I feel deeply blessed to join a school community that values connection, kindness, and a shared commitment to the growth of every child.
At St Mary’s, we are proud to foster an engaged and welcoming environment where strong partnerships between parents, teachers, and students are at the heart of all we do. We know that when families and educators work together, our children thrive.
Our dedicated team of teachers bring both passion and expertise to the craft of teaching. We take great pride in knowing each of our students and we are committed to delivering high-quality, explicit teaching that supports the individual learning needs of every child. Above all, we believe in being kind—to each other and to ourselves—and in nurturing a school culture where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
With a strong focus on the quality of education and the wellbeing of every child, we create an environment where students are empowered to succeed ensuring they are supported and challenged every step of the way.
I look forward to continuing the rich legacy of St Mary’s and building a future filled with learning, faith, and community.
