About our school
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a welcoming school in the heart of Inglewood, located beside the local hospital and parish, and closely connected to the wider community. Grounded in the Catholic tradition, St Mary’s welcomes families of all faiths and backgrounds and supports students to build independence, confidence and responsibility.
St Mary’s pedagogical approach engages the science of learning, supported by evidence-based initiatives to ensure we are most relevant in our teaching and learning, ensuring we are progressing and supporting our learners for the future. Targeted intervention programs, including literacy and numeracy support, speech and EAL+D support, ensure students are appropriately challenged and supported.
St Mary’s places a strong emphasis on The Arts and Physical Education, providing rich opportunities for creativity, expression and physical development. Graduates of St Mary’s leave with strong Gospel values and a deep sense of community, prepared to contribute positively to their world.
