About our school
At St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Catholic Parish Primary School, we are a welcoming and inclusive faith community where every child is known, valued and supported to flourish. We believe in strong partnerships between home and school, working closely with families to nurture each child’s growth: academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Inspired by the faith and values of St Mary MacKillop, we embrace each day with optimism, excitement and challenge. Her belief that “There where you are, you will find God” reminds us to see potential and purpose in every child and every moment.
Our flexible and dynamic learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, are designed to spark imagination, encourage exploration and support deep, meaningful learning. Teachers personalise learning to reflect the unique strengths and interests of each child, fostering confident, creative and engaged learners.
At SMCM, we celebrate learning, faith and community where each child belongs and every journey is honoured.
