About our school
Inspired by St. Marianne Cope’s example of love, compassion, and service, our school fosters a welcoming and inclusive community where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Guided by faith, kindness, and respect, we empower students to make a positive impact on the world.
St Marianne Cope Catholic Primary School is one of two Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic schools opening in Melton Shire. Also opening in 2026 is St Padre Pio in Thornhill Park. Both schools will offer primary education as well as kindergartens operated by MACS Early Years Education (MACSEYE) in the one location. MACSEYE will also operate before and after school care.
The first stage of our school includes two buildings. The first building will include the 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergartens, as well as the before- and after-school care area. The administration area and offices will also form part of this building. The second building will house 13 general learning areas, as well as a dedicated area for specialist subjects. The exterior of the school will feature two car parks, a bike shed, two basketball courts, a soccer field, a playground, and a sandpit. Future stages will include additional classrooms, specialist spaces, an indoor gymnasium and hall, and a performing arts centre. These learning spaces will provide a safe and supportive learning environment where your child will be empowered and nurtured to reach their full potential.

I am excited to announce the opening of our new school in 2026, where faith, excellence in education, and a strong sense of community will come together to support and nurture our students. St Marianne Cope Catholic Primary School will offer a safe, caring and enriching environment for children from Foundation through to Year 6, encouraging their growth academically, socially and emotionally, and spiritually.
In addition to our primary school, we are pleased to offer a Children’s Hub, providing 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten programs, as well as before and after-school care for local families.
Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities are currently under construction, and we look forward to welcoming our first students in 2026. St Marianne Cope Catholic Primary School will be a place where every child is known, valued, and loved, flourishing in their learning, growing in faith, and developing into responsible, compassionate members of the community. We are committed to empowering our students to make a positive impact on the world around them.
Our patron saint, St Marianne Cope, is a model of resilience, selflessness, and service to others. Her example of love and compassion is central to our school’s mission, and we are committed to fostering these values in every student.
As the founding Principal, I am honoured to lead this exciting new chapter. Together, we will build a school community dedicated to faith, learning, and personal growth.
