About our school

St Luke the Evangelist School offers a quality education in a close-knit community. St Luke’s is a community of:

  • LEARNING – offering strong literacy and numeracy programs along with specialist offerings, social-emotional programs (SEL) and opportunities for children to shine in their own unique ways through our leadership and student voice initiatives
  • FAITH – celebrating our Catholic traditions through sound Religious Education and pastoral programs that are inclusive of our multi faith community
  • PARTNERSHIP – welcoming and encouraging parent engagement and involvement in their child’s learning and growth

We aim to prepare children to become lifelong learners with a strong sense of spirituality, values and an awareness of how they can have an impact on social justice issues.

St Luke’s School provides students with a comprehensive curriculum in a safe, positive environment. We pride ourselves on strong literacy and numeracy programs, student wellbeing programs, student leadership, camps, sacramental programs and the arts. We offer specialist LOTE, physical education, STEM and performing arts programs.

St Luke’s operates an After-school Care program (MACSEYE) and parent engagement through the Parent and Friends Association, School Advisory Council and all school events are always planned with a desire to build community spirit.

Principal's Message

We know the journey ahead is an exciting one and we would love to partner with you and your child as you travel it. At St Luke’s, we believe it’s our attention to detail that makes the difference between a child who learns and a child who LOVES to learn.

Clare Ryan – Principal
