Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Families
Welcome to the St Jude’s Primary School website. I feel privileged to lead this amazing school community. We have a dedicated staff who work enthusiastically to engage each child on their learning journey.
The parent community at St Jude’s are seen as the first educators of their children. Making strong connections with our parents and welcoming them into our school is of utmost importance.
We are a Catholic Primary School located in Langwarrin. We are a small school set on big grounds. This allows every student to be known by all staff not only by name but for the individual that they are.
At St Jude’s we develop the whole student, equipping each individual with lifelong skills to become the best version of themself. Student wellbeing is of utmost importance, every child is shown positive unconditional regard and taught at their point of need.
Our school motto is Mercy, Peace, Love which simply put means Use Your Kind Heart. Alongside our motto sits our three school expectations which are explicitly taught and modelled through our Christian values to each member of our school community.
Everyone at St Jude’s has the right to be treated with respect.
Everyone at St Jude’s has the right to feel safe.
Everyone at St Jude’s has the right to learn.
The school is situated on magnificent grounds, which allows teaching to go beyond the classroom. We are a five star sustainable school and strive to teach our students to be stewards of the land and to be responsible members of the world that we all share.
St Jude’s is a happy school to learn, to work and play. If you are considering St Jude’s for your family I extend an invitation for you to contact me to organise a tour which will give you an opportunity to see what makes St Jude’s stand out as a warm welcoming school.
