About our school
St John’s provides a dynamic environment for our students and families, where Catholic faith permeates, active partnerships are developed, and a high-quality personalised curriculum is provided for each student. With the recent completion of a major building project, we have enhanced our school facade, updated our Resource room and created a STEM and Performing Arts learning space.
Our outdoor areas were also upgraded with major landscaping works and the installation of a new multi-purpose court, piazza area and soft grass area. Our secure, shaded outside spaces also include an adventure playground, large grassed area, basketball court and a ‘passive play’ area.
Our indoor learning spaces include state-of-the-art classrooms, featuring flexible furniture and walls, to cater for a variety of teaching and learning experiences. Our engaging and contemporary spaces enable rich teaching to be designed, meeting the individual needs of students. Our cutting-edge facilities are supported by strong teaching practices and technologies which motivate enquiring minds and encourages a love of learning. Providing explicit feedback to our students, supports individual goal setting and personalised learning programs.
With a dedicated STEM program we encourage our students to research, design and create, celebrating their diverse interests and skills, as they take action on their learning and make a difference in the world.
Offering an extensive extra curricular program supports our students many talents and needs. We run a marathon club twice weekly, choir, chess club, digi tech, art and lego clubs.
St John’s continues to thrive as a welcoming and active community, developing our students emotionally, academically, socially and spiritually.
