We know all of our children as individuals and learners. At St Columba’s, we personalise learning, providing the children in our care with the learning opportunities they need.

We teach the child, not the subject. We are an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. As educators, we select and design content, and we think carefully about the strategies we will use to help children become independent inquirers. We empower, we provoke, we question, we inspire but we never just provide an answer. What we do instead is support and guide our students to discover the answers to questions that are important to them. We aim to instil a joy for learning and to keep children curious and to question the world around them.

We care for our planet. As a 5-Star Resource Smart School, we are doing our bit to make the world a better place.
