About our school
St Clare’s Catholic Primary School one of four primary schools in the Parish of St James, Hoppers Crossing North. The school is a Catholic primary school located in the Allura Estate Truganina South, in Melbourne’s outer western suburbs. St Clare’s Catholic Primary School opened in January 2015 with an enrolment of 167 students with students from many different cultural backgrounds.
Ben Fahey, is the Principal of the school and leads a growing school, catering for the diverse students and their families of Truganina. In 2025, the school has 3 homegroups across the year levels Prep to Year Six, and has an enrolment of 450 students. St Clare’s has been established to serve children and their families and is a faith-filled, Christ-centred, welcoming and caring educational community. The St Clare’s community is committed to recognising and affirming the gifts and talents of others; celebrating diversity; and embracing difference.
St Clare’s aspires to make a positive contribution to the Truganina community by forging positive partnerships between the school and the community, where parents, students and teachers are collaborators in learning. St Clare’s values the contributions of all members of the community and aims to work in partnership with the families, parishioners and the wider community to ensure rich learning experiences and valuable community engagement.
