About our school
St Catherine’s is a welcoming and friendly community school, where learning partnership with families are valued. The school is situated on spacious grounds in a quiet street off South Road. You will find major shopping centres, secondary schools, a TAFE college, a swimming complex, parks and sports grounds close by. There are many local sporting groups, clubs and hobby groups in the community to cater for the interests of the children.
The school offers small class groups, individual learning programs to meet the needs of students. Our expert teaching staff and education support staff use evidenced based teaching strategies to support growth and progress for all students. Our friendly, inclusive school community welcomes family and parent engagement. Our large school grounds include sporting facilities, a quiet courtyard area, vegetable gardens, large grass oval and a shaded adventure playground catering for children in all year levels. Our impressive Learning Hub area supports collaborative learning, library facilities and digital technologies.

We believe that the education of a child is a partnership between school and home, whereby we work together to support your child to build self-esteem, develop independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our beautiful school grounds are located on Fletcher Street, Moorabbin next to Holmesglen TAFE and Hospital. We are very fortunate to have lovely modern facilities which along with our dedicated staff, provide an inviting environment for learning. Our students are valued, nurtured, and supported to be the best version of themselves.
