About our school

Santa Maria College is a dynamic Catholic secondary school for girls. In the tradition of the Good Samaritan Sisters, students are empowered to be fearless in their learning, to stand together on issues of equity, diversity and justice, and to take their rightful place in society. At Santa Maria we understand girls! The Village Model: Our One Community, Three Villages model for years 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 ensures students are known as unique individuals and have access to programs designed specifically for them. They feel a sense of belonging and are supported to unlock their full potential. IB World School: The International Baccalaureate Middle School Program enables girls in years 7-10 to discover their individual learning style, to receive grounding in the latest digital technologies and to situate their learning within a global perspective. The IB/MYP is the platform from which our girls launch into their senior years of schooling. Duke of Edinburgh Program: This outstanding program builds confidence and important life skills. Comprising physical challenges, emotional strength, team support and community service, Dukes encourages empathy and independence and the living out of Good Samaritan values.
