About our school
Our Lady’s College is a dynamic Catholic secondary school for girls, inspired by the Josephite tradition of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
Located in Annerley, the College combines the resources of Brisbane Catholic Education with the warmth of a close-knit community where every student is known and supported to thrive.
Founded in 1964, the OLC motto Ad Altiora (Ever Higher) reflects a culture of aspiration, courage and compassion. Learning is a journey of possibility, guided by expert teachers who partner with families to set goals and celebrate achievement.
Students access diverse pathways, including ATAR for university entry and nationally recognised VET qualifications, alongside contemporary subjects in English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Technologies, Languages and The Arts. Uniquely, OLC is the only Queensland secondary school to offer Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as a language subject.
Beyond academics, OLC students engage in rich co-curricular opportunities in Sport, Arts, STEM and community service, with multi-faith formation and a distinctive pastoral care program fostering wellbeing, resilience and leadership.

It is a privilege to lead a school where connection, compassion and courage shape every student’s journey. Our Lady’s College blends tradition with innovation, offering diverse pathways and opportunities that inspire young women to thrive academically, socially and spiritually.
Guided by our motto, Ad Altiora – Ever Higher, we create an environment where each girl is known, supported and encouraged to pursue her passions. Together, we prepare confident, compassionate leaders ready to make a difference in a complex, changing world.
