About our school
Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community committed to providing high quality Catholic education. Established in 2018, we are one of four Catholic primary schools that form part of Our Lady’s Parish, Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park, fostering strong connections with our parish and local community.
Our school is guided by Gospel values, promoting respect, compassion and a deep sense of belonging. We embrace evidence informed learning approaches that empower students to become critical thinkers, confident learners and responsible global citizens.
Situated in the Highlands Estate, Craigieburn West, our school serves families within the West Craigieburn area and beyond. Located approximately 33km north of Melbourne, our modern facilities and expansive learning spaces provide a welcoming and engaging environment where students thrive academically, socially and spiritually.
At Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, we are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community, where students, families and staff work together in partnership to create a safe, inclusive and enriching educational experience.
Principal's Message
As Principal of Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, I warmly welcome prospective new families to our community. Guided by the spirit of St Oscar Romero and our call to aspire not to have more but to be more, we nurture children to grow in faith, confidence and curiosity.
We believe every child is known, valued and supported from their first day with us. Our learning programs build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while also fostering wellbeing, independence and a genuine love of learning.
Choosing a school is an important decision. I look forward to partnering with you as your family begins its journey with us.
