About our school
Mother of God School is a small school where everyone is known by name and learners are at the heart of all we do. We are a Catholic school that welcomes all faiths. We are Ardeer’s hidden gem!
When you step into our school we hope that you will immediately feel the welcome and care that we promote. Our focus is on creating a positive and inclusive school environment by offering a variety of programs and strategies that support wellbeing and the full participation of every child. Programs include Social and Emotional Learning, a Discovery Play program, a Community Garden program focussing on health and sustainability, strong learning diversity practices and a large variety of core and specialist subjects.
We have high expectations of all our students and support children and families to achieve their best. We promote the development of learning habits and dispositions that enable all to participate fully in life in the 21st century. We are proud of our facilities and technologies that support contemporary learning, our team of generous and knowledgeable staff, but, we are most proud of the delightful young people who help make our school a great place to come every day.
