About our school
Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School in Greenvale established in 2023 to provide a third school in the Good Shepherd Parish, Gladstone Park and to serve the need for Catholic education for the Greenvale community in the growing northern corridor. Projected enrolment for the school is 520, we currently have an enrolment of 238 with 78 preps joining us in 2026.
Stage 2 of Mary Queen of Heaven is now open
The stage 2 build includes:
• 12 flexible General Learning Areas
• 2 spacious gathering spaces
• 2 well equipped specialist learning areas
• 1/2 oval play space
• Additional Landscaping & grounds development
All of our learning areas are flexible. With purpose built functioning doors and walls we can offer our learners an open space for learning and collaborating or a closed space for quiet, reflection time. Through the collective efforts of staff, children, parents and friends, additions and improvements to the school will continually be made.
As a Catholic school, we work in partnership with parents to nurture and develop our Catholic faith and pass on rituals and traditions to their children, while also providing the very best education following the Victorian Curriculum F–10. As a new school, we will begin small, providing a welcoming, safe family atmosphere where children feel seen, heard and secure. This environment will facilitate rich learning experiences.
Principal's Message
My name is Renae Gentile and I am very proud to introduce myself as the Principal of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School.
I am passionate and driven by the opportunity to build a learning environment where our children will be inspired to be creative, empowered, dynamic learners.
Our motto ‘Let the Light Shine’ reflects the Gospel centered values of humility and love that resound at our school. Gospel values modelled so eloquently by Mary our Mother and Jesus himself.
Who our students are as people and the contributions they make to society now and into the future are important considerations for us as educators. We aspire to provide our students with strong faith models, a highly supportive community and a challenging and engaging curriculum that develops them spiritually, morally and ethically as well as intellectually, emotionally and physically.
It is families who breathe life into schools. No school can be truly successful without the active involvement of parents and caregivers in the life of the school. I am proud of the developing partnerships we have made with our community and getting to know the story of our families and your children.
I encourage anyone interested in learning more about Mary Queen of Heaven to follow this website where we will share news and updates about our beautiful school community in Greenvale.
Enrol now and journey with us!
