Principal's Message

Welcome to Marian Catholic School, where curious minds are nurtured. As a school community we are dedicated to celebrating character, creativity, effort and achievement across all areas of academics, sport, service and arts. In particular, we celebrate kindness and compassion within our student body. Marian Catholic School enjoys a strong reputation in the Townsville community and challenges students to live out our motto, “To strive for love and peace.” Our motto is at the core of all we do.

Under the patronage of Mary, Mother of Jesus, Marian is an inclusive learning community that follows the example of Mary each and every day, living out the Gospel Values as inspired by Jesus, in close connection with Holy Family Parish. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to be active participants in our school community, and to work in partnership with school staff who are deeply committed to providing students with the best possible education that consists of a balance between academic, spiritual, sporting and cultural opportunities, in a safe, supportive and caring environment.
