The school grounds are safe and secure. The play facilities are varied. There is a large adventure playground, netball/basketball courts and other hard surface areas. The resurfaced grass area provides year-round access. The students at Holy Spirit are active and enthusiastic.
At Holy Spirit, we believe all encounters are important in our life and faith formation, which prepares us to learn and grow from everything we experience. We call this approach ‘Our Catholic Way of Being’ as our Christian and Wellbeing values are inextricably linked forming the rich foundation in which we guide and help our students and community to flourish.
Our School Vision is expressed in our Catholic Way of Being, as we all learn through this statement:
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we aspire to be a kind, inclusive and respectful learning community, connecting with one another as we grow in God’s love. ‘I am because we are…’
Principal's Message
Where faith is lived, relationships matter, and every child is known, valued, and inspired to flourish.
At Holy Spirit School, we embrace our Catholic identity by nurturing a community where each child is recognised as a unique gift from God. Our school is built on the strength of authentic relationships, where faith, learning, and wellbeing are deeply interconnected to support the growth of the whole child.
We are committed to creating a learning environment in which students can feel safe, confident, and happy—empowered to flourish spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially to reach their potential. Our approach is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework, and is enriched by the values and teachings of our Catholic tradition.
Our greatest strength lies in the partnership between students, staff, families, and parish. Together, we cultivate a vibrant and inclusive learning community that celebrates diversity and honours the unique story and contribution of each individual. We understand that every interaction shapes who we are as a school.
Through a rich and engaging learning program, guided by the Religious Education Curriculum and contemporary educational practices, we support students to deepen their relationship with God, with others, and with themselves. We foster curiosity, wonder, and a sense of purpose—helping children recognise God’s presence in themselves and their everyday lives.
At Holy Spirit, we are committed to continuous improvement, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of learners while remaining grounded in our Catholic identity. We strive to develop confident, compassionate, and responsible learners who make wise choices and grow in awareness of their God-given gifts.
Together, we are a community where faith illuminates learning, kindness shapes our actions, and every child is supported to reach their full potential.
