About our school

At Holy Name, the school and parents work in partnership to make our children’s learning journey an enjoyable one. Our Parents and Friends along with our Maintenance and Development groups work in unison with one another to keep the Holy Name community spirit alive. Our staff work hard to establish positive relationships with our parent community along with our students.
Our students are offered a variety of specialist areas where they are encouraged to challenge themselves in areas that they may not have thought possible. As a staff we aim to develop well rounded confident children ready for life beyond.

Principal's Message
Holy Name Primary School has a proud history in the Reservoir area and has been a beacon of the community for over 80 years. The strength forged with the community encourages our parents and grandparents to be active participants in the life of our school and encourages life connections.
Small class sizes allow staff to gain a good understanding of each individual’s learning habits. Small class sizes also provide our children with a safe learning environment where they feel safe to take learning risks.
All children at Holy Name are regarded as individuals which each have their own story to tell and live. We are an inclusive community that works hard to cater for all styles of learning. Knowing this staff differentiate the curriculum to get the best out of each individual student. Staff discuss and cater for the academic and wellbeing needs of our students. Each child is valued for who they are and what they bring to the Holy Name community.
