About our school

Corpus Christi Primary School is located in Melbourne’s outer west, 34 km from the CBD, bordered by the Princes Highway and Maltby Bypass. The school stands on land originally inhabited by the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

Named from the Latin for “Body of Christ,” Corpus Christi embraces the call for each person to be a living part of Christ’s body. Inspired by St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, the school honours her courage and tenacity as guiding values for its community.

The dedicated staff are the school’s greatest asset, committed to providing rich and challenging learning experiences. Corpus Christi focuses on the growth of the whole child—spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional—offering a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for their future.

A welcoming and faith-filled spirit defines the school. Parents are valued partners in their children’s education, and their active involvement strengthens the community. Together, staff and families create an environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and inspired to achieve their best.

Principal's Message

It is my great privilege, as Principal, to welcome you to our school community.
At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful belief, that Corpus Christi is a place where every person is welcomed, valued and celebrated for the unique gifts they have been given. Each child who walks through our gates brings their own strengths, talents, hopes and dreams. We see it as our sacred responsibility to nurture those gifts with care, encouragement and high expectations.
Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create a learning environment where students feel safe, known and supported. They are not only educators, but mentors and role models who nurture curiosity, resilience and compassion in every child. Their commitment to both academic excellence and pastoral care ensures that our students grow not only in knowledge, but in character and faith.
We are also deeply grateful for the wonderful support structures and facilities that enrich life at our school. From engaging learning spaces to specialist programs and wellbeing supports, every element of our environment is designed to help students flourish. These resources allow us to meet the diverse needs of our learners and ensure that each child can experience success.
Being part of Corpus Christi means belonging to a community built on respect, kindness and shared purpose. We believe that when students feel valued for who they are, they develop the confidence to contribute positively to the world around them. Together with families, parish and the wider community, we strive to create a culture where everyone feels they truly belong.
