About our school

Brigidine College Indooroopilly is a leading Catholic girls’ school in Brisbane’s western suburbs that provides a dynamic education from Years 5 to 12. Established in 1929, the College has a solid reputation for academic excellence, pastoral care, and opportunities that prepare young women to thrive beyond the classroom.

Our College motto of “Strength and Gentleness” guides students in developing confidence, curiosity, and compassion. With the addition of Year 5 in 2024 and Year 6 in 2025, the College now offers a seamless transition between junior, middle, and senior years, promoting learning continuity and well-being.

Brigidine provides a broad and innovative curriculum supplemented by co-curricular programs in sports, the arts, service, and leadership. Students are challenged to pursue their personal best while being grounded in values of faith, justice, and inclusivity.

Brigidine College, located on expansive grounds in Indooroopilly, inspires girls to discover their full potential, form lifelong friendships, and confidently prepare for their future paths. We are proud to ensure that every girl has the chance to unlock every opportunity, and the College encourages students that in a world where you can be anything, be a role model. We embody and display the Brigidine way through our service and leadership.

Principal's Message

With the introduction of our Junior School, students now have a smooth transition from Year 5 to Year 12, supported by dedicated staff and enhanced by opportunities in the arts, sports, leadership, and outreach.
