St Ursula’s College, Yeppoon – Champions of Change

A member of the Alliance of Girls Schools Australasia, St Ursula’s College, Yeppoon, is a specialist in girls only education; our curriculum and co-curriculum programs are tailored to allow girls to collaborate, develop confidence, and seize leadership opportunities.

Our Junior School curriculum for Years 7 and 8 students develops confident and capable learners with a broad range of subjects offered. Core subjects are enhanced by elective studies in Languages (French and Japanese), Creative Arts, and Digital and Design Technologies. Supported learning experiences in Literacy and Numeracy are available, including a dedicated Numeracy enhancement program.

In our Middle School, Years 9 and 10, student learning extends to include a broader range of elective studies in a variety of specialist areas, including Certificate courses and Careers Education. The introduction of Certificate II in Engineering Pathways in 2021 provides an exciting opportunity for girls in Year 10 who are interested in the manufacturing and engineering industries. Extensive renovations have taken place on campus to create the Engineering and Construction Centre (ECC), which is fully fitted-out with essential equipment to develop the students’ skills and knowledge.

Our Senior School program for Years 11 and 12 offers personalised pathways for all students, encompassing both Tertiary entrance (ATAR) and Vocational Training (VET) certificate subjects. St Ursula’s College students can also access University subjects and Diplomas through CQUniversity or connect with one of our many community partnerships to undertake a school Traineeship program. Our dynamic and supportive learning environment ensures excellent educational outcomes for all our students.
