St John Fisher College (SJFC) has evolved with global trends to become available to all Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) Students in digital online learning.

The first online education platform of its kind in Catholic Education, FisherONE has expanded SJFC’s teaching and learning capacity by offering senior subjects through two modes of learning:

• Onsite (at our Bracken Ridge Campus)

• Online (through our digital learning environment, FisherONE)

The FisherONE learning program is designed to meet the needs of all BCE students who have difficulty accessing specific subjects at their home school. It brings these students together in a collaborative virtual learning experience, fully facilitated by a qualified teacher, so they can participate in their desired subject. From 2024, this will be available to students beyond BCE.

When students enrol in one of the FisherONE subjects, it becomes part of their timetable and they have specific time scheduled for the subject, like all their other subjects held in College classrooms.

FisherONE offers a selection of QCAA senior subjects as online courses, including Humanities, Business, Science, Technologies: Design and Digital, Mathematics, Languages, and the Arts. FisherONE means a senior subject profile that more closely matches your child’s interests and post school aspirations.
