The Student Representative Council aims to raise awareness and build a culture of understanding.  During NAIDOC Week, students focus on celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  Throughout the year they also take part in ‘Stomp Out the Gap Campaign’, where 100% of money raised goes directly toward the delivery of education programs to some of Australia’s largest Indigenous communities; through the Cathy Freeman Foundation.  The College begins every community celebration with welcome to country, acknowledging the traditional custodians of this land; paying respects to Elders past, present and future.
