At Santa Maria each girl is guided on her resilience journey. Key to this is coming to know one’s gifts and strengths. Santa girls have wide-ranging leadership and extracurricular opportunities. Talents and skills are identified and developed. Achievements and disappointments are celebrated and processed within the context of team and community support. The College is renowned for its outstanding ‘Santa spirit’! This spirit has been centre stage over the last two years of extended lockdowns. Our students have used their proficiency in digital technologies to support one another in the most creative and thoughtful ways. From student initiated podcasts to sublime music events from their living rooms, to lunchtime virtual cooko!s, to online interviews with well known journalists broadcast to the whole student body, our girls have been leaders in optimism and hope.
