Sacré Cœur, Glen Iris VIC – Building Resilience

Sacré Coeur women shape the world, and have done so for over 130 years. Our students develop and possess an inner strength and clarity of purpose, engaging with others with courage and kindness. We are committed to supporting the emotional and social development of each student, and the delivery of our Pastoral Care program is central to this. Pastoral Care is fundamental to the Sacré Coeur curriculum and, as such, is included in the Senior School timetable through our Cor Unum Program. We equip our students with knowledge, skills and experiential learning so that they develop the ability to navigate the challenges of school life and learn how to cope with pertinent issues facing adolescents at their particular age of development. The program, which is based on best practice and accredited wellbeing frameworks, reflects the Sacré Coeur way, “Courage and Kindness”, and is built on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing program developed by the Royal Melbourne Hospital – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give.
