Our Lady’s College Captain of 2012, Yasmin Ildes, is a lawyer, and social justice and female empowerment advocate. She was admitted to the Bar in August 2019 and currently works in a pro bono legal advocacy service for vulnerable and disadvantaged people, including those seeking asylum and refuge. In 2018, she was fourth runner up in Miss World Australia.

Yasmin also established Glamourzonians, a not-for-profit aimed at empowering young girls to redefine what beauty means to them, as well as look beyond themselves to bigger world issues. She is a proud member of the Our Lady’s College board.
