At Our Lady of the Scared Heart College, students are encouraged to use technology to complement their learning. The Canvas Learning Management System enables students to access resources for all subjects and it is a vital
aid to help students organise their time. After their introduction to Canvas, students become adept at using the platform to support their learning including drafting work, collaborating with peers and gaining feedback from teachers.

As is the case in all schools, we are helping students manage the integration of generative artificial intelligence into their learning. We are working closely with students to enable them to take advantage of the remarkable opportunities offered by generative artificial intelligence while navigating the ethical challenges such powerful tools produce. This iterative process is providing great opportunities for teachers and students to collaborate and mutually enhance their learning. Significantly, both students and teachers are becoming aware of the limitations of generative artificial intelligence in relation to teaching and learning as they seek to make the most effective use of the technology in the classroom.
