Oakhill College, Castle Hill NSW – Building Resilience
Our Lasallian values are central to everything that we do. At our large campus in Castle Hill, we aim to provide excellence in academic pursuits and faith-based learning opportunities that develop our students’ spiritual capacities, pastoral care, sport and a rich life beyond the classroom centred around building resilience. We use the latest advancements in technology, consistently update our learning pedagogy, and our staff are committed life-long learners at the forefront of change. Oakhill College provides a large range of curricular,
co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities, all of which have high participation rates. Students are encouraged to immerse themselves in activities to help nurture the important values of resilience, loyalty,
confidence and pride. Our programs stretch and enhance students moving them out of their comfort zone in a safe environment, and allow them to find their place and strengths while remaining humble and
building resilience. While our teaching is world’s best, we have ensured that our facilities reflect the demands that our students will face in careers that haven’t been established as yet. To this purpose, we are delighted with the progress of our Innovation Hub. This state-of-the-art learning environment will provide spaces for hybrid workshops (timber, fabrication and robotics), computer and graphics workshops and science and laboratory spaces, and will offer an experience of schooling that will prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world, empower them to explore new ideas, reflect and become knowledge-creators with their peers.
