Mercy College Coburg VIC – Reimagining Education

At Mercy College, each student is known. Our smaller class sizes and personalised learning approach supports our focus on educating the whole person – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our students are nurtured to be courageous, inquisitive and persistent learners. Understanding how, why and when learning is best achieved enables our learning community to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Students at Mercy College are challenged to strive for excellence in all that they do and we acknowledge that excellence looks different
for each individual. We aim to provide learning experiences that will achieve higher levels of student motivation and engagement, with girls encouraged and supported to reach their full potential. Our educators have engaged in professional learning, focused on numeracy and literacy skills across all learning areas and are implementing strategies across their subjects to successfully engage students in all numeracy and literacy demands of the curriculum.

Today’s globalised world means languages and intercultural understanding are invaluable. Students develop a respect and appreciation for cultural diversity and are provided with opportunities that allow them to engage in critical and creative thinking, in the classroom and wider community.
