In many ways, student life at Mazenod College has changed markedly over the past decade. The provision of a one to one laptop program in 2019 has changed the way content is delivered, meaning students access dynamic digital content and connect with learners worldwide. The pandemic provided teachers an opportunity to develop diverse and engaging resources that paired our digital platforms with evidence-based teaching practices, and these skills have transformed the way many programs are delivered.

Across the curriculum, our facilities have been updated to reflect the changing reality of our digital future. Mazenod College students access a wide range of software packages and a rich digital technologies curriculum to prepare them for the future workplace. All students have access to 3D printers, programmable laser cutters, GPS tracking devices, industry standard art and video facilities, a robotics and drone program, and digital design platforms to empower their creativity in a technology rich world.

We are proud of our Oblate charism and the continuing tradition of morning Mass. We base our teaching approach on the Visible Learning framework, with a focus on explicit teaching methods that have been demonstrated to be effective. We achieve outstanding results because we balance the need to be a dynamic institution with a clear vision of who we are.
