Loreto Kirribilli, NSW – Reimagining Education
Introducing Spiritus
We have proudly opened the doors to our new centre for innovation, Spiritus, a seven-storey learning hub that invites us all to be inspired, to seek knowledge and adapt to possibilities beyond today’s horizon.
The dynamic, versatile learning spaces and studios in Spiritus are designed to foster collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication, and facilitate expanded transdisciplinary learning experiences for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
The Loreto Kirribilli Learning Lens
Underpinning the Spiritus vision is our Loreto Kirribilli Learning Lens, a pedagogical framework developed to inform our educational approach. The Learning Lens reflects our belief that students should be ‘positive agents of change, engaging with the bigger picture’ and integrates our teaching and learning philosophy into daily practice.
Mary Ward’s mission was to educate in and for society, not apart from it. In Loreto Kirribilli’s community of faith, we nurture the spiritual, intellectual and social development of our students, so they are tomorrow’s women, ready to go out into the world to make a positive difference.
